The Utah Mammoth opened their 2026-27 season at the Delta Center on October 1 against Chicago, and then did what NHL teams do: left town for a long road trip. Home games are back this week. According to the published schedule, the Mammoth have five home dates left in October. Puck drops are Mountain Time, and schedules can shift, so double-check with the team before you buy tickets or book a sitter.
Right after that, the team starts a stretch of six straight road games (Oct. 29 through Nov. 11), so the late-October homestand is your last local look for a bit.
This is the NHL's first 84-game regular season in more than 30 years. Two extra games means a longer grind, more tired legs by March, and more nights where a random Tuesday matchup matters. For fans, it also means more chances to catch a game live without selling a kidney.
